| Dec 16 | Edgemont cleared for US syndication Edgemont, the teen-skewing half-hour series from Canada's Omni Films, will make its debut in syndication in over 85% of US households from January 18 next year. The show, which originally aired on CBC in Canada, is being taken out across the US by PPI Releasing, affiliated to indie syndicator Program Partners. [SB - NATPE 5] Stations groups acquiring the show for January include Tribune Broadcasting, Newport, Acme, Lockwood, Granite and The CW+ network, a version of The CW network serving markets outside the top 100 in the US. Creative Television Marketing has been tapped for ad sales. The series targets 13- to 16-year-olds and was licensed to US pay-TV network Starz Encore by Canada's Picture Box Distribution in 2005. It aired stateside on Starz's youth channel WAM! Internationally, it has previously sold to France2, Five (UK), TG4 (Ireland), RTL (Netherlands), Zoe (Philippines), MNet (South Africa), SVT (Sweden) and VRAK (French Canada). |

| Oct 28 | Great Month Coming Up For November 2008 Daniella will be shooting a feature film opposite Halle Berry ("Frankie & Alice") in Vancouver, B.C. She will play Maria. Then off to Toronto to shoot a pilot for an upcoming series called, "Lawyers, Guns, & Money." She will be playing the role of Lucia Silva a beautiful Portuguese girl. Also, out on national TV, you can spot Daniella on the Nature Valley commercial where she is in the middle of nowhere having her natural and favorite snack of Nature Valley. Great spot to see on TV, now. |
